‘ARDRASPARSHAM ‘ – Free Community Health Care Programme

Through this multi-pronged community health care programme; designed as part of the Bicentenary initiatives of the CSI Central Kerala Diocese, would cover the geographical areas of Mallappally, Ranni and Changanacherry Taluks. This venture was inaugurated on 11th June 2013. This programme helps people in three ways.

1. Home Care Programme

A team of one Doctor, one nurse, one paramedical staff and a counselor visit the houses of bedridden patients & others who cannot normally go to a hospital and give medical care and support, in a mobile clinic van. Serious patients are referred to hospitals for further investigation and treatment.

2. Community Clinic

One day Community clinics are organised in the premises of worship centres, schools, libraries, old-age homes etc with the cooperation of surrounding community. Investigation and treatment provided free of cost. Those who are recommended to continue their treatment are advised to visit the hospital.

3. Health Awareness Campaigns

Health awareness campaigns arranged with character building of students, De-addiction initiatives, Environment preservation, Educational and Family Counseling, Hygiene, Palliation and introducing different Health care streams as focal points.
